Covers all aspects of medieval studies within the period 300 to 1500. Its geographical scope covers the whole of Europe, part of the Middle East, and parts of North Africa to document the roots of Western culture as well as the Byzantine, Arab and Jewish worlds. This resource is composed of both the International Encyclopedia for the Middle Ages and the German language Lexikon des Mittelalters. Only entries with [IEMA] at the end of the heading are in English

Historical Abstracts cover the history relating of the world(excluding North America) The majority of materials covers history after 1450, but it does have some materials related to both classical and medieval history.
