Newspaper Source provides selected full text for 25 national and international newspapers, in addition to full text for more than 200 regional newspapers.  Some titles only include staff articles (rather than wire service).  Includes recent newspapers (late 1990s/2010s - present) following a short embargo period.  Includes New York Times, Washington Post, Philadelphia Inquirer, Oregonian, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, St, Louis Post Dispatch, Wisconsin State Journal, Capital Times and even the Advance-Titan.

Early American Newspapers, 1690-1922

Early American Newspapers allows users to search more than 1,000 U.S. historical newspapers published between 1690 and 1922, including titles from all 50 states.

The resource is actually a combined database of 17 different Readex series, including the African American Newspapers, 1827-1998 series listed above, as well as Redex Newsbank's Caribbean and Hispanic  newspaper collections.  Major papers included  New Orleans Time-Picayune, Cleaveland Plain Dealer, Milwaukee Sentinal, Kansas City Star, Dallas Morning News, and the Oregonian.

Large, online newspaper resource for historical and genealogical information, spanning more than 150 years of family history, small-town events, world news and more. Many very small newspapers are included but without great chronologically coverage.  In fact, some have only a single issue available.  Communities with the most coverage include Oshkosh, Eau Claire, Appleton, La Crosse, Janesville, Madison, Manitowoc, and Kenosha.

Includes newspapers published by African Americans, Native Americans, women's rights groups, labor groups, the Confederacy, and other groups and interests.  While the collection includes the Milwaukee Sentinal and the Rocky Mountain News, for for the most part, it include mostly  more obscure titles.
