NEW ERA Library Card

Since opening in 1962, Polk Library has strived to serve the Oshkosh and regional community in addition to its main mission as a resource for students, faculty and staff. A change within Polk’s policy has kept this possible, but now requires community members to obtain a Northeast Wisconsin Educational Resource Alliance (NEW ERA) Library Card before checking out books or using designated computers within Polk.

The NEW ERA Library Card is available to anyone in northeast Wisconsin and allows the holder to check out materials at 13 participating libraries. The cards are free to community members with a picture ID and a form available from the Circulation and Reserves Desk.
