Linking to Licensed Resources

To link to one of the library's licensed resources, you will need to identify the durable or permanent URL or link. In most cases, you should not copy the URL from your browser's address bar; the URL shown in your address bar is often a temporary link that will not work after your browser session has ended. The permanent or durable link may be found in different locations, depending on the database -- several examples are shown below. If the licensed resource you need is not shown, or you have any questions about how to link to resources, contact Polk's online learning librarians at onlinelibrary@uwosh.edu.

Please note: If a licensed UWO resource does not contain the proxy prefix, paste the url in this input below and it will generate a new proxied link

Linking from Search@UW

Permalinks to articles, books or media from Search@UW will link the viewer to the item's record in the system. The proxy prefix is not required for Search@UW links.
