About Off Campus Library Services

Off Campus Library Services are provided by Polk Library for the use of UW Oshkosh students, faculty, and staff who are learning, teaching, and working outside the UW Oshkosh campus. This may include students or faculty involved in:

• Online classes, with few or no on-campus class times
• Classes taught via teleconference
• UW Oshkosh courses taught at other locations
• Library research from off-campus computers (home, office, etc)

We can provide a number of services to those who are learning and teaching off campus, including:

• Off-campus access to online journal articles and books
• Delivery of Polk Library materials to the homes of those not regularly on campus
• Library and Internet research advice from a reference librarian via email (infodesk@uwosh.edu), phone (toll-free, 800-574-5041), or our chat reference service
• Online availability of articles for specific classes on electronic library reserves
• Library instruction sessions for classes taught online or off-campus.

About Polk Library

Forrest R. Polk Library is the main academic library serving the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students, faculty, and staff.
