I earned my Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University in 2011. Before beginning my graduate work at Dominican, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from DePaul University in 2007.

Professional Background

After completing a reference and instructional services internship with Loyola University Chicago in May 2011, I accepted Polk Library's offer to serve in the capacity of Information Literacy Librarian at UW Oshkosh, beginning in September 2011. I am presently an active member of the Association of College and Research Libraries, having recently completed terms as Chair of the Information Literacy Framework and Standards Committee as well as Chair of the Academic Library Trends and Statistics Survey Editorial Board. I'm also active within the UW Library System, having served a three-year term as a member of the User Services Coordinating Committee.

University and Community Involvement

I am involved in providing a wide array of services to students and faculty related to information literacy. Recently, I finished serving on the Teaching and Learning subcommittee for the Higher Learning Commission's accreditation process in 2017, in addition to the University's Strategic Enrollment Initiative. I work with faculty and administration to heighten awareness of services and resources the library provides to support the University Studies Program.
