I received my Master’s in Library and Information Studies in 1995 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Prior to this, I attended Carroll College, now Carroll University, graduating with a degree in History with a minor in Secondary Education in 1992.

Professional Background

I joined Polk Library in the spring of 1997 as a Reference LTE and became the Library Instruction Coordinator a year later.  In the past, I have also served as Chair of both the Library Education Users Round Table and the Reference and Adult Services Section in the Wisconsin Library Association.

University and Community Involvement

During my years at UW Oshkosh, I have been involved in many library outreach activities.  These have included representing the library at Taste of Oshkosh and the Classified Staff Day Service Fair.  I also help to plan and organize the annual Polk Library Murder Mystery and the Polk Library Book and Media Swap.
