Education

I received my Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin in 1998.  Prior to that, I earned degrees from the University of Cape Town and the University of Wisconsin.  Little known fact: I attended UW Oshkosh my freshman and sophomore years.

Professional Background

I started at Polk Library in 1998 after earning my Master's Degree.  Prior to that, I worked at the Wisconsin Historical Society as a public records archivist.  I am active in the Midwest Archives Conference where I have served in numerous elected and ex-officio roles.

University and Community Involvement

I have served on the Academic Staff Development Committee and the Outstanding Service Award committee after receiving that honor in 2003.  I serve as the agency records officer on campus and in that role counsel offices on the proper retention and disposal of public records.

I serve on the collections committee on the Paine Art Center in Oshkosh and the board of the Neenah Historical Society.
