Access Services

I received my Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2009.  Prior to that, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2003.

Professional Background

Working at Polk Library as a student employee while attending college ultimately led to my interest in pursuing a career in the library science field. After graduating from UW Oshkosh, I began working as the night-time supervisor in the Circulation department--a position I held until 2010.  During that time, I began working on earning my master's degree while employed full-time at Polk Library.  In 2010, I began my career as a librarian at Polk Library and am currently the Head of Access services.

University and Community Involvement

I am involved with library staff across the UW System in a collaborative effort to ensure our shared library systems are meeting the needs of our libraries and our patrons.
