  3. We value positive role models, both in person and in the curriculum.
  4. We value accurate information about students of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, free of negative judgment, delivered by trained adults who not only inform but affirm; we value individuals in the campus community who educate themselves in issues related to diverse sexual orientations and gender identities.3
  5. We value schools free of verbal and physical harassment, where education, not survival, is the priority.
  6. We value inclusion in support programs that exist to help students be successful in college life and beyond, including acknowledging, addressing, and embracing sexual orientation and gender identity needs.

  8. We value speaking out against and reporting discrimination of any kind that students experience or witness.
  9. We value schools where respect and dignity for all students, including students of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, is a standard expected of administrators, faculty, staff, and students at UW Oshkosh and throughout the UW system and where discrimination of any kind is always challenged.
