Queer Peer Mentoring Program

QPMP

The Mission of QPMP is to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning students at UW Oshkosh succeed during their time at the university, reach their full potential as individuals, and connect with other LGBTQ UW Oshkosh students in a friendly and confidential setting.

Participants will meet with Peer Mentors for one-on-one meetings in confidentiality.

All of our mentors receive training in partnership with the UW Oshkosh Counseling Center.

To request a mentor, please fill out the MENTEE application.  All information is confidential.

Become A Mentor

The Queer Peer Mentor Program enables peers to mentor peers in the process of developing a positive lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer identity and of acclimating to college life.

Mentors will be trained by the UW Oshkosh Counseling staff and are encouraged to attend SAFE Training and STOP THE HATE Training.

To become a mentor, please fill out the MENTOR application.
