Mission Statement

The mission of the LGBTQ Resource Center is to identify and respond to the concerns and needs of LGBTQ+ students, faculty, staff and their allies at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

We strive to provide high-quality support services that contribute to the academic and personal growth of LGBTQ+ students, faculty, staff and allies. To create a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for the LGBTQ+ community is one of our primary goals.

The LGBTQ+ Education and Advocacy Council put forth the proposal for the LGBTQ Resource Center with help and support from Rainbow Alliance for HOPE and other various allies on campus in 2006.

The LGBTQ Resource Center opened its doors in fall of 2008.
