Latin American Studies Program
The regional minor in Latin American Studies is part of the multi-disciplinary International Studies Program. Click here for more information about the regional emphasis and the International Studies Program.
You do NOT need to be an International Studies major to take the Latin American Studies minor, the minor is simply administrated by the International Studies Program.
A Latin American Studies Minor complements a wide range of majors, including: Anthropology, Communication, Economics, Education, Geography, History, International Studies, Political Science, Religious Studies, Sociology, and Spanish. Similarly, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh faculty members who teach Latin American studies courses and conduct research on the region have diverse disciplinary backgrounds and teach in all these departments.
