Latin American Studies at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh
The Latin American Studies (LAS) minor is one of four regional minors (also called emphases) offered by the International Studies Program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. The LAS minor allows students, regardless of their major, to develop a concentration in Latin American Studies as a supplement to their regular disciplinary major(s). The LAS minor examines Latin America’s languages, cultures, religions, history, politics, and the role that the region plays international and inter-American affairs.
