Kinesiology Club Volunteer Opportunities!
The next Kinesiology Club has a few great volunteer opportunities coming up:
Kimberly-Clark Health Services is providing Kimberly-Clark Employees with a gift-wrapping service to ease work/life balance during the stressful end of the year times. Employees will be able to bring presents, have them gift wrapped by volunteers, like yourself, with all donations from the service going to the Salvation Army.
Dates: Thursday, December 8th, 15th and 22nd
Time: 8:00am-4:30pm
They are looking for volunteers in increments of 1 hour, and are open for recruiting for all hours of the day! Any time you could give would be greatly appreciated!
The Kinesiology for Kids Night will be on January 19th, which is over interim. It will be a chance to educate young children, first-hand, on the benefits of exercising. It's going to be a fun and educational event! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact either the volunteer chair, Tori Struz (struv90@uwosh.edu), or president, Jacob Hawes (hawesj28@uwosh.edu), for details.
Also, don't forget about the various volunteer opportunities at the Oshkosh Senior Center. The hours are extremely flexible and the duties are numerous. Please contact Molly Butz at mbutz@ci.oshkosh.wi.us for information regarding this opportunity.
Kinesiology Club T-Shirt Sale
The Kinesiology Club is currently having a T-Shirt and Long Sleeve Sale. There is a drop box with order forms next to it in the Albee office (108). Please fill out your form and place them in the box with your money. Make sure you keep your money and order form together by using paperclips which will be next to the box. Just a reminder the t-shirts are Charcoal Grey and cost $12.00, and the long sleeve shirts are Royal Blue costing $16.00. There is a color printed example of the shirts in the office. The order deadline will be December 6th at 3pm!
Registering for Spring Semester
If you need help registering for classes for spring 2012, don't hesitate to make an appointment with one of your Kinesiology professors. They are more than happy to help you with your schedule.
