Athletic Training High School Workshop

Want to see what Athletic Training is all about? Then attend our annual workshop on December 2, 2017, where current students of the AT program here at Oshkosh will teach you some of the basic skills we use everyday.

Click here to see this year's brochure.

This workshop provides an opportunity for students to understand more about the athletic training profession and the UW Oshkosh Athletic Training Program. Participants will learn and practice various skills used by athletic trainers. High School students who want to learn more about the profession and enhance their skills will benefit from this workshop. They will have
an opportunity to interact with the faculty, staff and students of the UW Oshkosh Athletic Training Program.

There will be two panel discussions, one with current UWO students and one with licensed athletic trainers from a variety of settings, along with five break out sessions where participants will practice hands-on skills. Students will participate in each break out session, which are all hands-on and the theme will be All About Ankles.

Topics include:

Ankle Evaluation
Ankle Splinting/Bracing
Ankle Anatomy
Ankle Taping
Ankle Rehab
