Exercise & Fitness

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Kinesiology Major utilizes a strong scientific base and experiential learning component for students interested in the field of Kinesiology, the science of human movement.

The Exercise & Fitness Emphasis prepares students to work in the field of Kinesiology with healthy adults and stable patient populations to guide their fitness regimes.

In 2013, the Exercise & Fitness emphasis was awarded full accreditation status through 2018 by the Commission on the Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) through the Committee on the Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences (CoAES).

We are currently the only CAAHEP accredited Exercise Science program in the state of Wisconsin. Please visit our Program Goals and Learning Outcomes page to learn more.
