UW Oshkosh Kinesiology Department Facilities

The Kinesiology department offers students the ability to learn and work with state-of-the-art equipment.

The equipment is split into three laboratory spaces:

Albee 6-Motor Behavior Laboratory

The Motor Behavior Laboratory was refurbished and updated in 2008.  We offer students the chance to work with equipment capable of measuring two-dimensional whole body movements, kinetic analysis of the force causing movements, equipment to measure several sensorimotor skills including hand-eye coordination, weight discrimination, visual rotation adaptation, balance and more.

The Motor Behavior Laboratory is in the basement of Albee hall.  Students must walk through their locker room to find the laboratory.

Men should enter the locker room and walk towards the north (the back of the building).  As they exit the locker room Albee 6 is in the hallway on the right.

Women should walk through their locker room towards the back of the building, exit the locker room walk all the way to the back of the building walk up the stairs (if they look outside they will see Polk Library) and the down the stairs on the other side.  At the bottom of the stairs turn right and walk down the hallway. Albee 6 will be on the left.
