Diversity Grant Available
at High School Journalism Conference

Northeastern Wisconsin Scholastic Press Association (NEWSPA), an organization for the
educational advancement of high school journalism students, and the Department of Journalism
at UW-Oshkosh. |
What: |
Annual conference with session on diversity writing, photography, media convergence, and more. More than 50 sessions are offered at the conference.

Wednesday, April 23, 2008 |
Where: |
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the Reeve Memorial Union and in the Department of Journalism. |
Why: |
Minority students who work on a high school publication or are simply interested in journalism are welcome to participate. A diversity grant will pay the registration fee for minority students who are American Indian or Alaska native, African-American, Asian or Pacific Islander, or Hispanic. Funding also is available to help cover some of the transportation costs to the conference. |

Please fill out a registration form for each minority student. The conference registration materials are sent to member schools or you can download a copy (regular PDF | electronic form PDF).
