Jin Kyun Lee

Jin Kyun-leeJin Kyun Lee is an assistant professor of advertising in the Department of Journalism.

Lee's current research interests are cross-border strategic brand alliance and consumer psychology and behavior in a technology-mediated environment. His work has been published in Journal of International Consumer Marketing and Journal of Interactive Advertising.

He also worked as an AE in Asian Marketing Services in Washington, D.C. and Dongbu group, Seoul, Korea. Prior to that, he was a Communications Coordinator at Circle of Friends for American Veterans. He teaches Principle of Advertising, Visual Media Design, Ad Copy, Layout and Production and Strategic Campaigns in Advertising. He lives in Oshkosh, Wis. with his wife, Jieun, and their three children, David, Justin and Sophia.

Lee earned his Ph.D.  in advertising at the University of Texas Austin in 2010. He has a master's in advertising from Michigan State University and a master's in journalism and mass communication from Korea University, where he also went for his bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication and physical education.
