Inter-Tribal Student Organization

The Inter-Tribal Student Organization’s mission is to cultivate and educate the UW Oshkosh campus and surrounding communities about Indigenous cultures. The organization seeks to accomplish this by providing social, cultural, and educational programs and events.

The main goals include:

    •    Promote an awareness of Indigenous people within the university and the community by providing programs and presentations on cultural beliefs, tribal history and current issues.

    •    To serve as a resource for the university and the community by providing information in matters related to Indigenous cultures, history and current issues.

    •    Represent the voice of Indigenous students on campus and facilitate stronger relations between ITSO and other student organizations.
