The Juris Veidemanis Outstanding Senior in International Studies Award is named after a former professor who was one of the founders of the International Studies Program here at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
It is awarded to a graduating senior at the Spring University Honors Convocation . All seniors in the International Studies Major are automatically considered.
Selection is based on scholarship in and service to the International Studies Program and its student organizations, as well as performance in core courses in the major.
