The award-winning Integrated Marketing and Communications team seeks student workers to assist the department as it works to move the University's brand forward. Students will gain real-world experience through hands-on work in three areas: journalism/public relations, marketing communications, photography and graphic design.

Journalism/Public Relations Internship

The Integrated Marketing and Communication department seeks talented writers who want to gain experience in news and feature writing and public and media relations. This fun, award-winning department is on a cutting-edge journey to revolutionize institutional communications. Join us!

Previous interns have:

• Worked behind the scenes at the Barack Obama rally

• Helped plan press conferences

• Written feature stories that were later picked up by local and state media

• Crafted copy for award-winning materials

Web/New Media Internship

Here is your opportunity to be a part of the exciting project to redevelop the University's Web presence. The Integrated Marketing and Communications department is seeking a student with Web skills to assist in Web page setup and creation.

Campus website updates, programming and creation:

• Support, maintenance and programming of existing campus websites

• Perform content submission and formatting using the campus content management system

• Perform site testing and debugging

Marketing Communications Internship

Here is a chance to combine your knowledge of marketing principles with your passion for your University by helping the IMC team enhance the UW Oshkosh brand. This is a real portfolio-building opportunity!

• Assist with the research, development and implementation of UW Oshkosh's first-ever integrated marketing strategy across campus.

• Research and develop copy and designs for marketing materials like ads, fliers, brochures, websites and more.

• Help promote and facilitate UW Oshkosh and IMC events on campus.
