The Process

Working with IMC on a project is typically a simple process. It is helpful for you to understand how to work with our team. Below is a step-by-step guide.

 

  • Contact your assigned account liaison via e-mail or phone and discuss your marketing options, ask questions, solicit ideas or bounce ideas off of them. The account liaison is your resource for marketing needs. If you already know what you want, you can skip this step.

 

  • Fill out the "Request for Services" form, which requires details about your project, such as your target audience and your overall message. Your account liaison can be of assistance if you need some guidance.

 

  • Your project is assigned to a project manager. This person will work with you directly on the project, from working through a timeline and budget to execution.

 

  • When the timeline is determined, you will be informed of the key dates, such as when text is due. You may have chosen to supply IMC with the copy for your project; if so, you'll be notified of when it is due to keep the project on time. Once the text is approved, it moves to one of IMC's talented designers.

 

  • Your project manager will work through this phase with you, including helping you coordinate any photography needs. If there are Web components, they will involve the IMC Web team. You will review and approve the final design for all components of a campaign before it goes to the execution phase.

 

  • The execution will vary, depending on the project, but your project manager will work through this phase. Whether the project is going to print, to the Web or being e-mailed, you will be working closely with your project manager to successfully launch your campaign.

 

  • Finally, we'll help you evaluate if the campaign was successful. Based on your campaign goals, IMC can help you determine the effectiveness of your project and the value of the resources used.
