To help you better align your marketing and communications efforts
with the institutional image, Integrated Marketing and Communications
provides brand review of marketing materials you may create for external
audiences.
When you submit your communication materials for brand review, each
piece will be evaluated using the “brand review” model shown below. It
will be beneficial to review this list prior to submitting documents to
IMC for brand review. In addition, our UW Oshkosh Brand Review Zones document provides guidelines and a detailed overview of the Brand Review process.
Does my marketing piece:
-
Use the University wordmark or logo correctly?
-
Display co-brands appear appropriately?
-
Use University brand promise/key words?
-
Use brand colors appropriately?
-
Use University brand fonts?
-
Use current University photography?
-
Is the medium right for audience?
-
Shows a call to action?
If you answered “yes” to all of these questions, your publication
should pass the brand review process its first time through. If you
answered “no” to any questions, please consider how to incorporate the
appropriate edits into your piece, or contact IMC at 424-2442 to request
assistance.
To submit documents to IMC for brand review, please e-mail a PDF or jpeg file of your project (Microsoft Publisher and Word files are not accepted) to brandreview@uwosh.edu. NOTE: It's helpful to provide some context for what is being submitted, for example, the intended audience and goal.
Please allow approximately two to four working days,
depending on the size and complexity of the document, for the review
process, including making any necessary changes prior to printing.
