 The following outlines usage of the name University of Wisconsin Oshkosh:

• Use University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (no hyphen) on first reference.
• Use UW Oshkosh upon second reference.
• Use The University and UWO interchangeably in future references.
• When referencing UW Oshkosh, capitalize University. When referencing other universities, do not.
