Typography plays an important role in defining a brand. Typefaces can be playful or formal, traditional or contemporary, rigid or fluid. The UW Oshkosh Department of Intercollegiate Athletics follows University typography guidelines, which can be found at 

Additionally, individual sports should use Avenir Black or Helvetica if Avenir is unavailable when pairing their sport name with the official athletics wordmark and logos.
