Alumni Communications and Relations
The Alumni Relations office, located within the historic Pollock Alumni House, coordinates services for more than 78,000 alumni worldwide. Our purpose is to connect UW Oshkosh alumni and friends to the University and to one another by providing effective print and electronic communications and a variety of engagement opportunities, including special events, travel, career services and mentoring.
In 2007 Alumni Relations merged with Integrated Marketing and Communications to strengthen and grow communications with our alumni. Already, the merger has resulted in two new alumni communications benefits — the launch of Engage magazine, with greater emphasis on alumni — and the integration of our monthly electronic alumni publication eNews with UW Oshkosh Today to provide a one-stop approach to information.
Our mission also includes assisting campus departments and organizations in staying connected with former students. We can provide alumni lists for mailings and surveys, assist with reunion and event planning, and bring recognition to outstanding graduates and the programs they represent through alumni awards and profiles in University publications.
The Alumni Relations staff also partners with the University Foundation and the advancement officers of the four colleges to foster connections between alumni donors and their alma mater. The office also serves as the primary link with the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
These relationships continue to strengthen the future of this University by building connections and raising the financial resources that will make a UW Oshkosh education accessible to everyone in this region for generations to come.
