Assistant Professor, Tenure Track - 082a.0809Department: Physics/Astronomy Requirements (Degree/Experience): Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or closely related field. Expertise in energy/energy technologies required. Responsibilities: Teach general and upper level physics courses and advise majors. Professional presentations, publications, and the seeking of external funds are also expected. Preferences: An ability to teach electronics, instrumentation, and/or pre-engineering courses, work collaboratively with faculty in Physics and Chemistry on energy related research, and/or prior teaching experience.
