Assistant Professor in Digital Journalism - 061b.0809

Journalism

Requirements (Degree/Experience):

A relevant master's degree and significant professional experience OR a relevant Ph.D. and some professional experience is a minimum requirement. ABD's completed by September 2009 will be considered.

Familiarity with server side technology, Dreamweaver, and Flash expected.

Responsibilities:

Teach Online Publishing, and be qualified to assist in the development of other potential interactive media classes. Advising students and conducting scholarly research and/or professional growth are expected.

Preferences:

The desire to teach at least one of the following: Visual Media Design, and Magazine Editing and Production, Media Photography I. Desire to teach Introduction to Journalism and Mass Communication also preferred.
