Associate Student Services Specialist (Family Support Specialist) - 003c.0708Department: Head Start/Education & Human Services Requirements (Degree/Experience): Family Service Credential, Relevant AA Degree, B.S. in Social Work, Human Services or related field, M.S. in Social Work, Human Resources or related field. Computer Skills or desire to learn. Responsibilities: Engage in a process of collaborative partnership building with parents. Work collaboratively with families to identify and continually access services and resources needed. Offer parents opportunities to develop and implement individualized family partner agreements. Follow up with families and resources to insure appropriate intervention and delivery of services. Provide opportunities for parents to enhance their parenting skills. Develop relationships of trust and respect with community partners. Perform recruitment and enrollment tasks.
