Recruitment Officer - 290b.0708Department: Center for New Learning Requirements (Degree/Experience): 1. Bachelor's degree or higher. Responsibilities: This person will identify and recruit students from the counties surrounding UW Oshkosh into our nontraditional adult certificate and degree completion programs and build good working relationships with area two-year UW colleges, technical colleges, employers, and local agencies and community groups so that they view our programs in a positive light and refer students to our programs. The newly hired person will also advise students taking classes at locations off-site from UW Oshkosh, as needed. It is essential for the Recruitment Officer to keep accurate and up-to-date records of all contacts and activities and to coordinate with other CNL staff so that marketing, recruitment, advising, and student services are seamless, integrated processes. This person must be willing to occasionally participate inovernight travel and to attend evening and weekend recruitment events. Preferences: 1. Proven ability to connect with and communicate with nontraditional adult population.
