ACADEMIC STAFF & CLASSIFIED STAFF SUPERVISORS

The Human Resources Office sponsors “Leading From The Middle”, a leadership series for supervisors of classified and academic staff. Supervisors contribute greatly towards the growth, loyalty, motivation, team spirit, and development of employees who report to them.

Participants of this leadership series will discuss and share models to address and resolve conflict issues. Participants will learn their particular leadership style and how that matches the development of their employees. Discussion includes how to help people cope with and move through change, performance appraisal and systems thinking.

Participants will receive a broader view of the University and get to know other supervisors outside their work unit. Workshop facilitators will be other campus employees and administrators who share their skills, expertise, and facilitate learning.
