Responsibilities
MSW with a minimum of two years post-MSW professional social work practice.
The DSW or Ph.D. in social work (or a related field) or significant senior level faculty experience.
Potential for excellence in teaching and scholarly work.
Commitment to undergraduate education for generalist practice and willingness to teach in both MSW and BSW programs.
Demonstrated evidence of collaborative work with community partners.
Experience with diverse groups.
Requirements
Teaching some combination of at least two of the following curriculum areas: generalist practice, human behavior, social policy, research, and field practicum with some student advisement in either the MSW or BSW program.
Engage in creative and collaborative curriculum planning with social work colleagues and colleagues in the liberal arts.
Contribute to published professional knowledge base.
Provide service to the profession, the community, and the university.
