University Honors Program

Responsibilities

The associate advisor advises Honors students about Honors curricular requirements as they complete their other degree requirements and assists them as they plan schedules. The advisor also assists the Director and Assistant Director with recruitment and orientation of new Honors stutents, advises the University Honors Student Association (UHSA), and particiaptes in other UHP-sponosred events.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and general computer skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Preferences

Graduate of college/university Honors program, experience using PeopleSoft.

1.0 FTE Academic Staff position, 10-month appointment. NOTE: THIS IS A ONE-YEAR-ONLY APPOINTMENT, WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION FOR ONE [1] ADDITIONAL YEAR.
