Responsibilities

Teach a 24-credit load (reduced by six credits reassigned to research for active scholars) of undergraduate and graduate courses in 20^th century and contemporary British and Irish literatures as well as general education courses in literature and composition; direct M.A. theses; advise students in the major; serve on committees; pursue an active agenda of research and publication.

Requirements

PhD, college-level teaching experience, commitment to publication, specialization in 20^th century and contemporary British and Irish literatures.

Preferences

Secondary specialization or experience in linguistics
