Responsibilities

This position will play a significant role in course and curriculum development in the start-up phase of a new engineering technology program. The position will be responsible for teaching lower and upper-level courses in engineering technology, developing a strong research program involving collaboration with students and faculty, advising students, performing scholarly activities consistent with rank, performing institutional service and contributing to the ongoing programmatic development within the Department of Physics and Astronomy (currently housing the new Engineering Technology majors at UW Oshkosh).

Requirements

Earned doctorate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or closely related field from an accredited institution. Will consider ABD candidates who can demonstrate the ability to meet the requirement above.

Preferences

Experience working with engineering or engineering technology programs. Experience in program or curriculum development. Preference is for an Electrical Engineering background, but Mechanical Engineering faculty will also be considered.
