Management/HR (College of Business)
The primary teaching responsibilities are in the area of 1) International Business OR 2) Human Resources Management, for the undergraduate and MBA programs. We prefer teaching and research interests in any combination of these related areas: 1) International Business, Strategic Management, and Leadership OR 2) Benefits, Employee Relations, HRIS and Safety. Faculty members are expected to publish regularly in peer-reviewed journals. Untenured faculty members are expected to participate in service activities for the department and college (e.g., curriculum development). University-level service is expected at higher ranks.
Candidates must possess:
- An earned doctorate in International Business, Management, Human Resources Management, or Industrial Relations or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution. (ABDs with a reasonable likelihood of degree completion prior to hiring may also apply)
- A record of excellence in teaching or potential for excellence in teaching;
- A record of publications in refereed journals or ability to satisfy the research requirements of the College of Business Administration; and
- A reasonable likelihood of degree completion prior to hiring.
Organizational experience related to the field and a proven record of building bridges between academia and practice is highly valued.
