Responsibilities

The primary teaching responsibilities would be in the area of Human Resources Management for the undergraduate and MBA programs, with some potential for teaching management courses such as organizational behavior, decision-making, and/or leadership. Expertise in benefits and/or international HRM would be considered a plus. Faculty members are expected to publish regularly in peer-reviewed journals. Untenured faculty members are expected to participate in service activities for the department and college (e.g., curriculum development). University-level service is expected at higher ranks.

Requirements

An earned doctorate in Human Resources Management from an AACSB-accredited institution or in a closely related field (e.g., Industrial/Labor Relations, Industrial/Organizational Psychology) from an institution with commensurate credentials. ABDs with a reasonable likelihood of degree completion prior to hiring are welcome to apply.

Preferences

Teaching and research interests primarily in the area of human resources management with secondary interests in organizational behavior, leadership and/or decision-making.
