Annual Leave Conversion Option (Sabbatical Leave)
Classified employees who meet certain criteria may be eligible to "bank" vacation into a sabbatical account or receive a lump sum payment. This account can be used as vacation, education or illness or may be used as termination leave. Provisions are based on annual leave amounts as of the October B payroll. Leave not used at termination is paid out as a lump sum payment.
Employees are contacted by Human Resources when they become eligible for these options.
