Health

The State Group Health Insurance Program offers comprehensive hospital, surgical and major medical benefits and services through several HMOs and a self-insured preferred provider plan.

Dental

Many of the participating health plans provide some dental coverage. In addition, UW Oshkosh employees can choose from several dental insurance plans.

Vision

Employees may participate in the VSP vision insurance program, which helps you offset the cost of annual eye exams, frames, lenses and contact lenses.

Disability

If you become unable to work due to a physical or mental disability, there are several disability insurance programs available to provide income for you and your family.

Employee Reimbursement Account

The Employee Reimbursement Account Program is a voluntary program that allows you to set aside pre-tax income to pay medical and dependent care expenses.

Healthy Titans Program

Dedicated to educating, motivating and empowering UW Oshkosh employees to make healthy lifestyle choices, the Healthy Titans 2020 program offers several free or low-cost fitness, nutrition and health programs.

Recreation and Wellness Center

In addition to the Healthy Titans fitness program, UWO employees also have access to the state-of-the-art Student Recreation and Wellness Center. With a membership, faculty and staff can use the facilities and equipment, as well as attend group exercise classes.

Health Services

Through the Student Health Center, University employees can take advantage of several free or low-cost services, right on campus. These services include blood pressure checks, flu shots and Hepatitis B shots.
