President: Dan Foley Dan is a senior urban planning major at UWO. After graduation, he hopes to attend either Georgia Tech in Atlanta or Portland State in Oregon for his Masters in Urban Planning. Besides HOPE, he is actively involved with USRH as Hall Funds Chair, and with Stewart/Evans Complex Involvement Team. In his free time, Dan enjoys road trips, camping, hiking, and spending lots of time with friends! Vice-President: Serena Knowles Serena is a third year student at UWO majoring in Social Work with a minor in English Literature. She has been a member of HOPE for a year and a half. This is Serena's first year on the executive board. Serena is also involved with USRH, NRHH, and RAC. Serena enjoys spending time with friend, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family. |

Programming Coordinator '09-'10: Ben Marquardt Ben is a senior music education major at UWO. After graduation he plans on becoming a high school band director, hopefully somewhere in Wisconsin but if that doesn't happen somewhere in the northern part of the country. OSA Representative: Jared Holewinski Jared Holewinski is a junior majoring in Human Resource Management. This is his third semester being involved with HOPE and his first on the Executive Board. Jared also serves as President for UW Oshkosh Society for Human Resource Management and is also an inducted member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Co-Advisor- John Palmer I am very excited about working with HOPE another year and look forward to meeting everyone! I serve in the Dean of Students Office as Assistant Dean of Students primary responsibility for coordination of services for students with disabilities, advising the Student Allocations Committee, and serving as a university conduct officer. I am originally from Illinois, and have lived in Wisconsin since 1994. I enjoys the outdoors, movies, antiques, architecture, and history. palmerj@uwosh.edu

Co-Advisor- Liz Cannon Liz Cannon directs the LGBTQ Resource Center here at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh as well as teaches in English, Women's Studies, and African American Studies. She has also recently taken over as the director of the Social Justice Program. Liz teaches diversity issues, including Queer Theory, African American Literature, and Women and Madness. She serves as several committees, including the Gender Equity Council, the Women's Studies Steering and Curriculum Committee, and the African American Studies Steering Committee. Her "family" includes partner, Jay; dog, Tavia; cats Ariel, Caliban, and Sammy. Liz is also proud to admit that she is a grandmother. When not working, Liz can be found riding American Saddlebreds. |
