Polar Plunge 2013 - Freezin' for a Reason!
On February 16th, The University Honors Student Association once again braved the elements and jumped in icy Lake Winnebago to support Special Olympics Wisconsin (SOWI).
Despite temperatures being the second-coldest on record for the event, nine brave students and Honors staff members made the plunge and raised $1,200.00. Together the UHSA and other teams from the Fox Valley area raised $193,000.00 to support this very special charity. Thank you for making this event such a success!
