Graduation from the University Honors Program

Honors students who successfully complete the UHP curriculum receive special recognition prior to Commencement. The Honors Graduation Ceremony is held in December and May of each academic year. It at this special event that students receive their awards from the UHP.

The ceremony is followed by a reception and provides Honors seniors the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments with family, friends, faculty, and staff.

University Honors Program Graduates are recipients of the Honors Medallion, which is awarded to students who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 of higher.
University Honors Program Associates receive a Certificate of Recognition, which is awarded to students who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.2 to 3.49.

Graduating in Spring 2013?

Please complete a Graduation Information Form and forward it to Dempsey 146 by inter-campus mail or email by Friday, April 5th. Please include a list of addresses for any friends, family, or professors who should be invited to the ceremony. Invitations will be mailed by the end of April.

Ceremony

The Spring 2013 Honors Graduation Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 6th, at 5:30pm in Reeve 227C. Please join us!
