Religious Studies 110: Honors World Religions (*HU)(XC)(NW) (3 Credits)

  • Prerequisite: Must be enrolled in good standing in the UHP with prior or concurrent enrollment in HNRS 175.

A historical survey of the basic experiential, mythical, doctrinal, ethical, ritual, and social dimensions of the world's major traditions: tribal religion, Hinduism, Buddhism, Chinese and Japanese religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Emphasis will be placed on class participation and a term paper.

*** Note: This course will only satisfy a Humanities (HU) requirement for those students who complete it after the spring 2013 semester.
