Tour de Titan Bike Ride
Hop on your bike for the Tour de Titan 3 cruiser ride to promote a bike-friendly Oshkosh. Cyclists will depart at 11 a.m. from Pollock Alumni House at 765 Algoma Ave. and end at Tent City, Josslyn Street, where riders are invited to enjoy complimentary food, beverage and entertainment. A secure bike corral will be provided at both the start and finish of the ride.The bike ride is organized, in part, by the Oshkosh Cycling Club.
Helmets are required. A limited quantity of helmets will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis on the morning of the ride for $20 (retail for $40) at SRWC.
Registration for the Tour de Titan is just $10 per person for the ride and a T-shirt or $5 for the ride only. Print your registration form here and send to the alumni relations office to join in on the fun!
Advanced registrants will be entered into a drawing for prizes on the day of the event. Prizes also will be awarded for best vintage bike, most unique bike, best decorated bike and best costume.
The Equitable Reserve Association will be giving away two bikes with helmets. Register to win the free girls bike or free boys bike before the start of the race at Pollock Alumni House.
The nine-mile route
Depart from the service drive on the side of Albee Hall across the street from Pollock Alumni House.
Travel west on Algoma to New York.
East on New York to Bowen.
North on Bowen to Murdock.
East on Murdock to Menominee.
Southwest on Menominee to Oaks Trail.
Follow the Menominee Park bike trail, exiting on Merritt.
East on Merritt to Linde.
South on Linde to Washington.
West on Washington / Algoma to Osceola.
South on Osceola to the Wiouwash Trail.
South on Wisconsin to Witzel.
West on Witzel to Campbell.
North on Campbell to Taft.
West on Taft to Josslyn.
South on Josslyn to Tent City!
