Take Back the Night Never Silent Exhibition
Gail Floether Steinhilber Art Gallery (3rd floor Reeve Memorial Union)
Art can be a powerful way of expressing what words don't fully describe. The TBTN Survivor Exhibition will be open for viewing from Oct. 9-17. Come see the personal stories of our survivors and learn more about how relationship violence and sexual assault impacts our community. For gallery hours, please view the schedule.
Fair and Activities
Reeve Ballroom
Learn about volunteer opportunities with area law enforcement, domestic violence and sexual assault service agencies on campus and in the community. Design a wrist band to show your support for survivors and make a donation to receive a Take Back The Night T-shirt. We will have resource tables from community agencies throughout the Fox Valley.
6 p.m.
Rally
Reeve Ballroom
Hear from a survivor and community agency as they share their stories. Feel part of a National event that decries relationship and sexual violence in our community. The rally is a time for us to learn more about domestic and sexual violence and hear what each of us can do to support victims, survivors, their families and friends and end violence.
6:45 p.m.
March
We will be leaving Reeve Memorial Union via High Avenue and Division Street with the support of the Oshkosh Police Department. We will stop for a moment of silence in front of Christine Ann Center. The march will then proceed in silence to the Elmwood Avenue entrance of Reeve Union.
7:15 p.m.
Reception and Never Silent Exhibition
Gail Floether Steinhilber Art Gallery (3rd floor Reeve Memorial Union)
We'll end the evening with inspiration to keep the community mission of ending domestic and sexual violence at the forefront all year long. Please join us for the opening reception of the Never Silent art exhibit.
