Strategic Directions
The programs and services of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh will be guided by five strategic directions — community, teaching, scholarship, partnership and stewardship.
Student Learning Outcomes
UW Oshkosh prepares graduates who are talented, liberally educated, technically skilled global citizens and are fully engaged as leaders and participants in civic, economic, political and social life. The University fulfills its learning mission through a commitment to providing a 21st century liberal education that is grounded in a set of student learning outcomes unanimously adopted by the Faculty Senate on May 13, 2008. Alignment of Governing Ideas
The Alignment Chart portrays how the ideals of UW Oshkosh's Governing Ideas start with a strong core and radiate out to the units', colleges' and institution-wide strategic plans, processes, priorities and action initiatives.
Alignment of Learning Outcomes
For college learning to meet the needs of the people we serve, we have adopted a set of student learning outcomes adapted from the AAC&U report titled "College Learning for a New Global Century."
