Application initiatives
Integrate and evaluate applications in BBA and MBA programs.
- Develop assessment methodology for undergraduate capstone courses to determine impact on students for applications exercises.
- Improve the sequence of undergraduate quantitative courses to improve the effectiveness of the exercises.
- Improve student experience with employers through professional skills development.
- Increase student off-campus application orientated exercises.
Innovation initiatives
Pursue innovation through expansion of centers, global application, and new market and program opportunities.
- Develop Self-Sustaining Model for Council for Innovation (CFI) through increased participation in CFI events. Develop annual conferences in high-impact markets sponsored by CFI.
- Determine how the Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Processes and Environmental Research can be integrated with the University Sustainability Initiative.
- Expand Global Study Opportunities for Students through evaluation of current global programs and exploration of new opportunities.
- Implement majors funded through the Growth Agenda.
- Explore offering current programs in new markets.
Excellence initiatives
Recognize the excellence of performance by organizations, alumni, faculty, staff and students.
- Highlight alumni successes and faculty research in public forums.
- Pursue opportunities for University- and System-wide recognition for outstanding faculty and staff.
- Diversify and build upon current methods to recognize faculty, staff and students.
- Fully recognize student research projects.
- Increase market awareness of Small Business Success Awards.
Operational initiatives
Further build and develop processes, human resources and infrastructure.
- Evaluating performance of centers within the College.
- Recruit six tenure-track and two full-time staff instructors.
- Search for and select new dean by June 30, 2009.
- Prepare for AACSB accreditation.
- Complete design and fundraising for new academic building.
