Rural horizons and landscapes continue to change. Yet there remain structures and spaces that quietly withstand forces of time and transformation. They, too, are places that the students, faculty and staff of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh help strengthen.

Our efforts to spread the power of sustainable energy to Wisconsin farms continue. Our redesign of an innovative, high-quality, community-connected general education program — the “University Studies Program” — is rooted in our belief that Wisconsin flourishes when we provide a better education for more and better-prepared citizens. In all of our efforts at UW Oshkosh, we share knowledge and, in doing so, enhance what is dearest to all of us.

Like the pastoral scene in this holiday greeting, our teaching and learning mission at UW Oshkosh is inspired by the ideas within the lyrics of our alma mater. We “Remember well the days of dreaming and a hope declare, that all may live with dignity on the earth we share.”
